    A celebration of community, nonprofits, and local businesses, presented by The Millerton News

    The Millerton News, in partnership with the North East Community Center and the Millerton Business Alliance, is excited to announce the Millerton Street Fair on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 10am to 2pm in the Village of Millerton.

    This community event brings together nonprofits and local businesses, with neighbors and families, for a lively day on Main Street. Attendees can look forward to:
    ● Live music and entertainment
    ● Bee Bee the Clown and face painting for kids
    ● Engaging exhibits from area nonprofits
    ● Special promotions from local shops
    ● Delicious food and festive fun for all ages

    Event Details Date: Saturday, June 28, 2025 Time: 10am – 2pm
    Location: Main Street, Millerton (in front of the Millerton Inn and adjacent to the Farmer’s Market)

  • Car Seat Check

    We all want our children to travel safely in cars. Installing a car seat for younger children and babies can be a challenge!
    The Millerton Police can check to make sure your car seats are installed correctly and teach you how to use and install a car seat on your own.
    The Village of Millerton Police are hosting a car seat safety check on Thursday, May 15th from 3:30pm-7:30pm at 36 Mechanic Street in Amenia.

2025-2026 Budget
Public Hearing

Please take notice that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Millerton will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 6:05 p.m., at Village Hall, 5933 N. Elm Avenue, to invite the public for their input on the Village of Millerton Budget for 2025-2026 fiscal year. Please see below for a copy of the Preliminary 2025-2026 Budget. The mayor’s salary will be $9,000.00, Deputy Mayor’s salary will be $5,000.00 and Trustees salary will be $3,500.00 each.
