Some programs are offered directly by the County, and others are offered by our contract agencies. Getting connected to treatment and recovery programs and finding support is easy, and we are here to help.
NYS Safe Sharps Collection Program
All hospitals and nursing homes in New York State are mandated by law to accept home-generated sharps as a free, community service through their sharps collection programs. Find out where you can dispose of your sharps by clicking the button below.

HEAP Applications
Poughkeepsie… Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro announced the Dutchess County Department of Community and Family Services (DCFS) is now accepting applications for regular Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), which assists low-income residents with the cost of heat and energy-related expenses. Individuals can apply online or in person at several locations throughout the County.
